On Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, I received the below message from Dr. Michael Popp of the Univ. of Arkansas informing me that SOYMAP has been updated. I encourage you to download this new version of SOYMAP to ensure you have the newest information.

As of his morning a new version has been posted. The change to the model is noted on the website as:

IMPORTANT: Note that in early 2019 the R5 dates were updated to be consistent with Fehr and Caviness' (1977) definition. The previous version of SOYMAP-v.4 or earlier gave dates for the first R5 on the plant, regardless of the position of the pod. This update added 7 days to the R5 date regardless of MG and planting date based upon results from Salmeron and Purcell (2016).

Just a quick FYI. The user manual reflects this change on the title page and an added paragraph in the Technical appendix (second paragraph on p. 11).

Nothing else changed. I encourage you to download the new version.
