Prepare for 2018 Growing Season: Row Crop Short Course 12/4-6

Before they prepare for 2018, Mississippi farmers will have a chance next month to catch up on recent row crop research being conducted across the midsouth.

Join the Mississippi State University Extension Service at its annual Row Crop Short Course Dec. 4-6 at the Cotton Mill Conference Center in Starkville. Register online until November 27th. Registration after November 27th, including at the door will be $40 per person.  As in years past, lunch and dinner will be provided free of charge for those that preregister.

The course kicks off with a cover crop symposium and continues with presentations on insect management, new herbicide traits, nutrient and water management, among several others. For a better idea of what to expect, take a look at this year’s preliminary program.
