See Sustainable Irrigation Tools in Action

You’ve heard about the tools that can help you save money and irrigate more efficiently, now see them in action.

Attend an upcoming Irrigation Turnrow Talk sponsored by the Mississippi Soybean Promotion Board, Mississippi State University (MSU) Extension Service and stakeholder organizations of the Delta Sustainable Water Resources Task Force.

The Irrigation Turnrow Talks will feature local, on-farm demonstrations of water-conservation efforts, which are part of the Sustainable Irrigation Project (SIP), being implemented and utilized by farmers throughout the Delta.

Attendees will hear from farmer-cooperators and MSU Extension Service staff at these events and see how surge valves, soil-moisture sensors and other tools can save them time and money.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn how …

  • PHAUCET could cut your irrigation time by 20-40 percent per field
  • Surge valves could improve your irrigation efficiency by up to 25 percent
  • Soil-moisture sensors could cut your number of irrigations in half
  • Using all three tools can reduce water use by 47 percent while maintaining yield

Mark your calendar to attend one of the following Irrigation Turnrow Talks.
