Objectives
- Train our mobile compatible algorithm (ADSNN-BO) for accurate diagnosis of the major soybean foliar diseases that occur in the MS soybean production system
- Develop an automated image capture system coupled with soybean disease diagnostic analyses
Expected End Results
The proposed research represents the first step in the direction towards the integration of image capture and field-level diagnostics using artificial intelligence technologies. We expect that some crop consultants/farmers will be able to monitor their crops through cell phones 24 hours a day no matter where they go within 3 to 4 years, with the research to be completed within two years.
