Principles of Water Management for Soybean Production--MAFES Bull. 919

The interactions among soil, plants, and the environment as they affect soybean's response to varying levels of soil moisture are discussed.  Presentations and discussions center on the effects of soil texture on soil moisture availability, how soybean plants respond to drought during the vegetative and reproductive development periods, and how varying soil water availability from plentiful to drought- inducing will affect soybean yield components.
