Insect Control Guide App From MSU

On the Feb. 3, 2017 MCS blog page, MSU Entomologists Drs. Angus Catchot, Jeff Gore, and Don Cook posted notification of a new “Insect Control Guide App” that is now available in the app store for iPhones. Copies of the 2017 online version of “Insect Control Guide for Agronomic Crops” and “Insect Control Guide for Soybeans” are also available.

In the notification, the authors provide instructions for accessing and using the app. You can use the app to get a performance rating (1-10 scale) for a particular insecticide on a designated insect pest for various crops. You will also find thresholds, insecticide use rates, and additional comments for the management/control of a designated pest, as well as a picture of the pest.
