The Annual or Final Reports for MSPB-funded 2012-2013 projects are being posted in the Research and Reports section of MSSOY.  I invite you to read those that interest you to see how MS farmers’ checkoff monies are being used to fund research and extension projects to provide results that will help MS soybean farmers.

Of particular interest are the following.

• Disease ratings (Project No. 19-2012) for varieties that were entered in the 2012 Miss. Soybean Variety Trials.


• A slide presentation by Alanna Blaine (Dr. Dan Reynolds’ Project No. 42-2012) that presents findings from their study to determine the effect of low concentrations of dicamba and 2,4-D on soybean growth and yield.

I also encourage you to view all of the videos that provide results from or overviews of many of the MSPB-funded projects. They are in the News section of MSSOY

I will continue to post Project Reports as they are received and finalized.
