Mississippi farmers know all too well that agricultural production is strongly influenced by many factors, some they can control and others they can’t. The Mississippi Soybean Promotion Board (MSPB) has put together a guide that gives farmers tools to maximize soybean yields on their farms. This guide offers explanations and descriptions of some Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the Mississippi region, which include topics like weed management practices, pest management practices, soil management and irrigation management. These BMPs are a compilation of results from MSPB-funded research and experiment station and extension projects.
