Recently, Dr. Trent Irby, the MSU Extension Soybean Specialist, provided three items that I have posted on this website. All of the items result from work done with MSPB support to Project No. 57-2014. They are:

A table that contains results from Soybean Variety Screening for Tolerance to Iron Chlorosis, which has been added to the Iron Deficiency Chlorosis White Paper in the Soils Section.

The final results from the On-Farm Soybean Variety Demonstration Program that was conducted throughout the state to provide data to complement those generated from the Mississippi Official Variety Testing (OVT) program.

The 2015 MSU-ES Soybean Variety Short List that was generated based on overall performance of varieties that were evaluated in the OVT and in on-farm demonstrations, and general observations of varietal performance throughout the state.

Information in all of these documents should be used to aid in the selection of varieties for 2015 plantings.
